1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you (or the entity you represent, "you") and Beck AI ("Beck", "we", "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Beck is an AI-assisted coworker platform for teams, providing chat, memory, task tracking, approvals, third-party integrations, and related tools. Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion. We may release beta features on an "as-is" basis.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
  • One person or entity per account; do not share accounts across users.
  • Notify us immediately at security@hirebeck.com of any suspected unauthorized access.

4. Plans, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the price displayed at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy or as required by law.

  • You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for all fees.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension after reasonable notice.
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes and duties.
  • Price changes will be communicated in advance and take effect at your next renewal.
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period unless the Refund Policy applies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, infringe rights, or use the Service to harm others.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to derive source code, model weights, or trade secrets.
  • Bypass security, rate limits, authentication, or usage restrictions.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, illegal content, or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is deceptive, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, exploitative, or that violates any applicable law.
  • Use the Service to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without appropriate human review.
  • Compete with us using benchmarks or evaluations of the Service without our written consent.
  • Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties outside your organization.
  • Use the Service in high-risk environments where failure could result in death, personal injury, environmental damage, or catastrophic loss (including safety-critical systems, medical devices, or nuclear facilities).

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate offending accounts.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Beck a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works of Customer Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service for you.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to provide Customer Content to Beck and that its use as authorized here will not violate any law or third-party right.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of Customer Content.

7. AI output and accuracy

Beck uses AI models to generate responses, suggestions, drafts, and actions. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or content that is inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI output before relying on or acting on it.

Do not use Beck as the sole basis for legal, financial, medical, tax, immigration, employment, safety, or other consequential decisions. Beck is a productivity tool, not professional advice.

You are responsible for any actions Beck performs on your behalf through connected services, including messages sent, files modified, records changed, or orders processed. Review authority controls before granting Beck the ability to act.

8. Third-party services and connectors

When you connect a third-party service, you authorize Beck to access and act on your behalf within that service using the scopes you approve. Beck is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

9. Intellectual property

Beck and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all related software, models, designs, trademarks, and documentation. Except for the limited rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you.

You may provide feedback about the Service. You grant Beck a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use feedback without restriction or compensation.

10. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information using the same care it uses for its own confidential information (and no less than reasonable care), and will use it only to perform under these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk, or if your account is inactive or delinquent. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

You may terminate at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BECK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

BECK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BECK AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

BECK'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID BECK IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where limitations are restricted by law, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Beck and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your Customer Content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

Class action waiver: To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought individually and not as part of any class or representative action.

If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction with mandatory local protections, nothing here overrides those protections.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your account.
