Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with Beck. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what falls outside our refund window. It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms of Service.

2. Subscription billing

Beck is a subscription service billed in advance:

• Monthly plans renew on the same day each month.
• Annual plans renew once per year and are billed for the full annual term.
• All prices are shown at checkout and confirmed by email.

3. Free trials

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being billed. If you do not cancel, the plan converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up.

4. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing billing@hirebeck.com.

• Cancellation stops future renewals.
• You keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation alone does not entitle you to a refund of the current period unless the eligibility criteria below apply.

5. Refund eligibility

We may issue a refund in the following cases:

• 7-day money-back for first-time paid subscriptions. If you paid for Beck for the first time and are not satisfied, request a refund within 7 days of your first paid charge for a full refund of that charge.
• Duplicate or accidental charges. If you are billed twice for the same period or charged after a confirmed cancellation, we will refund the extra charge.
• Documented, prolonged service outages caused directly by Beck that materially prevent use, subject to reasonable pro-ration of the affected billing period.
• Where required by applicable law (for example, mandatory statutory rights in your jurisdiction).

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days.

6. Non-refundable charges

Except where required by law or expressly stated above, the following are non-refundable:

• Partial-month or partial-year usage after the refund window.
• Renewal charges on active subscriptions when you forgot to cancel before renewal.
• AI usage, credit purchases, or metered usage that has already been consumed.
• Add-on services, one-time purchases, and setup or professional-services fees once work has begun.
• Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service, including abuse, fraud, or violation of acceptable-use rules.
• Charges older than 60 days from the request date.

We are not obligated to refund charges related to third-party services (for example, model provider fees you pay directly, or provider outages outside our control).

7. How to request a refund

1. Email billing@hirebeck.com from the email address on your account.
2. Include your account email, the charge date and amount, and a short reason.
3. We will respond within 5 business days and, if eligible, process the refund promptly.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we can usually resolve the issue faster and without fees. Chargebacks filed while an issue is under active review, or on charges that fall outside this policy, may result in immediate suspension of the account and recovery of any resulting fees.

9. Taxes and processor fees

Taxes and payment-processor fees, where applicable and non-recoverable, may be excluded from refunds to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date. Charges incurred before a change remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of the charge.
